I think of the so many friends, oh so good friends who are gone because of this Virus.

Yesterday, I wasn't feeling top notch, but today I am!
I have to admit, I'm moody, oh yes, but now my moods don't effect me the way they once did.
I know the dark clouds of my mood will pass, and it did, I feel great!
Partly because I took care of myself today. I needed to get another blood test done, I have to do this every 3 months. The ones I don't like are the ones I have to fast, so no coffee in the morning!
Oh, I put these blood tests off, because I find it difficult to get myself all the way across town to the Kaiser HMO facility at Geary and Divisadero, but today, I had a way to do with some Fun!
You see, I also needed to drop off my rent check at the landlord, and really didn't have time to mail it, since it's already 2DEC, so what did I do! I got a car from my City Car Share! What was fun about that was that there is a "pod" two blocks from my apartment in Noe Valley (San Francisco), that has a Mini-Cooper!
Have you driven one of those cars? They drive like a Sports Car! Like you have a BIG Dick! LOL.

Now back to World AIDS Day.
I was listening to my favorite gay radio station, and although "Greg and Fernando" are back on the air in San Francisco, they're on a rather boring CBS station, so once their show is over, I tune in online to Proud FM in Toronto! If you guys have been reading my group postings for very long, You know, I'm a big Canadaphile (is that a word?), so I was thrilled to get to be back in Canada's largest City again, at least cyber wise.
I learned of this station via cruising for cute guys for friends on Facebook, and I found one of the handsome, cute, young morning DJs, funny because I've never ever heard him yet on Proud FM, since I'm out here on the Pacific Time Zone, and 3 hours later than Toronto. By the way, Proud FM is a gay station, all day, all the time!

Yesterday in the afternoon, as part of Proud FM's tribute to World AIDS Day, they had a guest who was HIV POZ, and He spoke of all the corporate press, and the media attention that World AIDS Day gets.
The DJ asked if anyone did anything for him, Took him out for a drink, coffee, lunch, dinner?
He said "No, But What I'd rather have, a good lay, some good SEX!", Well right on! I agree.
What I want for World AIDS Day, is a good lay!

In DEC 2006, I found myself in Amsterdam! (Lucky Me!)
I didn't know that the BIG Dance Party of the year, was held as a fund-raiser for AIDS, it's the BIG Gay Event of the year! I waited to long after my arrival to go get tickets, oh silly procrastination! So, On the Day of the event, I attempted to get a ticket, lo and behold, They were sold out! I was pissed! (not at them, of course, but myself) Normally the "Travel Gods" treat me well, so I was a bit perplexed that I couldn't get a ticket.
After a little meditation in the Park, I figured oh OK.
If you can't attend the biggest dance of the year in Amsterdam, why not make that the night, (or morning), that I go the Night Sauna!

A bit blue that my partner who is a Pastry Chef at one of San Francisco's prominent Catering Companies, has to work all the time during the first part of December, so He's working 10-12 hours a day, every day, this time of year.
A bit blue that the days keep getting shorter, and it's getting colder and colder in San Francisco.
AND......I'm not in Amsterdam this year! (I've got to do something about that!)
