World Naked Bike Ride 2010 (San Francisco)

It was a great day to participate in the World Naked Bike Ride,
The San Francisco ride must have had some 150 Riders, even a handsome guy on skates!
The weather Gods did indeed bless us with WARM Beautiful Sun, and a lack of WIND!
The temps reached 88F on that Saturday last weekend!
The beautiful weather and the recent BP Oil Spill created an The Biggest Ride we've ever seen in SF!

There seems a real lack of media interest except for the SF Weekly!
That weekly Paper does celebrate San Francisco being the quirky City We LOVE!

We rode 20 miles along the Embarcadero to Fisherman's Wharf, then to Fort Mason, back over to Columbus Street and North Beach, then through the Financial District along Montgomery Street to Market, left on Valencia, then right on 18th, up to the Castro, where I left the ride to join my partner and little dog for a needed Beer at Cafe Flore.

It was great to see such local talent!

It was great to see so many citizens taking some kind of action in light of this disaster in the Gulf!

Boycott BP and ARCO.

Reduce Consumption of all kinds but specially Petroleum Products where you can.

     Smile.

Hug your family and friends.

Exercise, Bike, Jog, Hike, Enjoy your Physical Body!

Well, the Weather Gods do indeed shine upon San Francisco today!
It's been a warm morning so much so that I have been bragging that SF this morning was warmer than LA and Palm Springs! WOW! Perfect for a Naked Bike Ride!

it's HOT, and I'm bragging, grateful, and excited!
